G) Then a final big chest can be opened for about 20 random "normal" items. I didn't mention this mode, but it basically amounts to:Ī) A single map, apparently harder than usual for that level but I have never noticed it being any harder.Ĭ) No gold and no loot drops (except for Cursed Chests and a few other things).ĭ) Untainted monster/bosses invade the map occasionally and must be killed.Į) Player gets rated at the end (I've never had anything but S+ so I have no idea about the workings or significance of this rating).į) Player earns 5 special items with one special random Untainted affix* Otherwise it is quicker and more efficient to do Untainted runs (chose at least 4 mods for your expedition then press Lure Untainted for 2000 Primal). Each time you complete 3 maps like this, you can increase the starting map level by 3 for all future expeditions, up to max of level 237. Each map is one level higher than the previous and you must start by running level 40-42 maps. You earn these points by running expeditions, which are a set of 3 consecutive random maps with a Bloodtrail track running through them. In endgame you are rebuilding the Stormfall city using "production points" and gold. ![]()
